[ phoenix is finding agni... and he has leftover pancakes.... they have a little flame on them with whipped cream. the whipped cream is melting a little by this point, but the pancake is still warm. ]

Heard you used the room of req-whatever. Can you tell me some more details on what you saw, and what happened to you?

[oathic]

I asked for the means of separating Blue from the house.

[he thinks for a bit.]

I saw visions. First saw the house, with you guys—the dead—around, doing mundane stuff. You were shuffling a deck of cards, actually.

Anyway, I then saw the door to the room, pulsing red. When it opened, I saw the people I care about being torn apart to shreds. At the end, there was a voice: "To separate, all must gather."

Then I was super tired for the next day.

[slobjection]

.... Hmm... well, we were in another version of of the mansion., you could say.

[ .... ]

You lost something too, didn't you?

A piece of my soul? I guess so.

[slobjection]

Is that even possible for a god....?

[oathic]

Well, there are a lot of things here that shouldn't be possible.

Though it's not as if gods are exempt to penalties on the soul, so it's not completely out of the question.

[slobjection]

Fair enough. I can't say I'm an expert on the subject.

[ extremely yikes. ]

Does it... feel different? To be missing it?

[oathic]

[he shakes his head.]

No. But back when Nie was the only one who'd messed with the room so far, I asked Blue if we should worry about him, and they said only if he did it again.

So while it's not ideal to lose any part of your soul... at least individually, the amount lost should be trivial enough to not impact you.
