[ That's personal! Her eye is very personal. She only has four working senses, so losing an eye is terrible. Through her pain, she breathes in sharp gasps, as she hears the chimes count down.
With her last moment as herself, she looks off in the direction where she thinks a certain room is, and something almost like heartache flashes across her expression. ]
Tell him I—
[ She doesn't get to finish that because the twelfth chime resounds, and she transforms. As a Leviathan, she's massive, as large as she can be while also (mod voice) being able to fit into the house. She lets out a roar as the room falls apart against and around her. ]
[great. too bad agni doesn't know who she's talking about!
in any case, his first thought is, not as big as gandharva. though, to be fair, that's a hard standard to reach when gandharva at peak form was planet-sized. still, it's for this reason—despite being far more powerless than he usually is, even with a summoner as weak as brilith—that he feels little fear at the sight.]
Wow, this is so unfair.
[and with that, he turns to run. time to get serious now.]
[ Nothing about this is fair! He's right. Maybe he can figure it out eventually.
Meltryllis would never want to be something as huge as a planet anyway. Her own personal nemesis is something that wants to consume a planet.
The monster brings out the worst attributes of her: making her more hungry and murderous. She gives chase, destroying more of the house as she flies after him. ]
[was it toi. was meltryllis soft for the 14-year-old drug dealer.
agni races down/up/schrodinger's direction the stairs, heading to his room. it's a good thing it's been abandoned since jin ling moved out, though, as it made hiding his preparations simpler.
books are scattered across the floor (ah, brilith and plum are going to kill him for this). as uncomfortable as letting of his sword is, he places it to the side for the time being, so that he can grab his can of hairspray instead. with his other hand, he removes his lighter from his pocket. when meltryllis inevitably comes bursting in, agni takes aim directly at her and lets loose.
(sorry, peach. he definitely did not ask for it to spike his hair.)
and thus, as the lighter's flame spirals beyond control, the room comes alive, ablaze. when the hairspray can overheats, he tosses it at meltryllis—a makeshift bomb about to explode, as a gift. as he, you know, grabs his sword and gets the hell out of there, jumping out the balcony.]
[ since you're killing me, i will tell you melt is soft for a 14yo drug dealer, but is that who she meant....? itisamystery.jpg
The monster won't be sated until someone is dead. It needs a victim, and Agni is the one who appeared before it. The hunt is on, and the hunt is what it likes. It's Meltryllis' personality at play that makes the chase drag on.
The Leviathan roars as it follows him into his room, breaking through the door frame. She roars again in pain at the full force of the fire, flying back to avoid the brunt of it. She demolishes more of the already burning room as she does, and the long tail takes most of the heat of the bomb.
Unfortunately, the monster is strong and while not invulnerable or infallible, that huge blaze is not enough to fell it.
She goes after Angi once again, this time faster than before. Anger makes her quicker, more rash, and she whips her burning tail at him. ]
[I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE TORMENTING ME WITH THIS, IT HAS TO BE EITHER TOI OR MAMMON?? WHO ELSE DOES MELTRYLLIS LIKE, DAMN
anyway]
Ergh—!
[that hurt. luckily, agni manages to hold onto his blade, as he's sent flying. the one other bright side is that, burning or not, he's flung into the pond, dousing out any flames before they can burn—though a part of him wishes he hadn't been. he may have no need to breathe, but the sudden shock of cold is deeply unpleasant.
ugh, he hates water. hopefully, no one stuck a horse head in the pond this time.
still, he has no time to waste. keeping his grip on his sword tight, he rises to his feet.]
[he can't dodge. not in his current, powerless form. and so, the leviathan will find that its jaws close down on bone, as it might expect.
—but not agni's.
he always has a trump card, after all. in this fight, it's this. the monster's teeth crunch through a skull, once kept on agni, in place of the limb it would've otherwise devoured. this is the exact moment he's been waiting for this entire time: the instant in which an enemy is most vulnerable. when they're this close, and when they think they've won.
without wasting even a second, he lifts his sword, no matter how heavy his dripping limbs feel or how his chest pains him—and he plunges it directly into the leviathan's head.]

Prayer hands that the Leviathan doesn't have to see a horse head for a second time, not that it was aware of it the first time around.
