The scissors?

We found a lot of magical items over there that turned into weapons. I don't know if any of that is actually usable here. They turned back to looking like this when we came back through the door.

That was actually a giant dog before.

I think he took a ring and a shield? The ring can alert you if someone's lying. The shield is... a shield.

All of that, yeah. Jin Ling has a bow and arrow that can... influence the thoughts of a person.

[toi already had issues with dying friends and it sure seems to be getting worse.]

She was pretty insistent that everything was going to be fine.

That was probably her own way of fighting her doubts.

All I got was a war, sharks, dogs, and Anya was behind Nie when they were attacked from above...?

We found a sled, and it had magical dogs attached. When we were riding it, we reached a bridge and a cliff, but... [ he grimaces ] Jin Ling and I fell off the cliff with one of the dogs. That's where the shark came in.

I don't know what the other two got up to after that. But eventually, our dog took us to this huge battle at a castle, and that's when we saw them. When we were trying to regroup, we got there just as Anya was stabbed by a soldier.

So, we didn't make it in time to do anything.

But as beloved as Anya was, I don't think anyone here is thinking, "I wish Toi had died instead of her."
