Well, we'll just have to do what we can, as we always have. That won't change just because we're nearing the end.

One sacrifice to save the rest may be worth it for us, Agni, but do you really think they will accept that so easily?

It's not about that.

Like I said, the circumstances of this kill must be different from the past ones. In that case, the execution may be, as well—and that's not getting into the possibility of circumventing it. Not to mention, people are determined to bring all the dead of this round back, anyway.

Our situation may well have completely changed. We don't know what we're heading into, so all that we can say right now is that whatever it is, we'll face it with everything we have.

Without the four of them, we have no way of knowing exactly what has changed. It's even less certain that this will work out the way that they want when we have no real direction, other than to see one more person executed.
